STANBERRY, Mo. - The Missouri Highway Patrol is investigating a wreck with no driver to be found. The Patrol says a 2007 Jeep Wrangler was eastbound on Highway 136, four miles west of Stanberry, at 2:30 a.m. Sunday.
The Jeep struck the embankment of a field entrance, overturning and landing on its driver's side. An occupant, 20-year-old Brayden Martinez, of Mount Ayr, Iowa, suffered serious injuries.
He was taken to Mosaic Life Care in St. Joseph. He was wearing a seatbelt. No information about a possible driver has been released yet.
